BioRender is a powerful web-based tool that allows researchers to easily create and collaborate on high-quality scientific figures for publications, grants, and presentations. Through the LSI's group license, users within the institute can now access BioRender's extensive library of over 50,000 scientifically accurate icons at a reduced cost.
The LSI, in partnership with MSL, offers LSI labs access to an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) solution that complies with UBC's privacy and security standards. As more labs join, the cost per member will decrease, making it an increasingly affordable option for researchers.
The LSI curates a directory of services and resources for Omics, Phenotyping, and other Core technologies to enable research. We provide links under Genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Microbiomics, Imaging, Phenotyping, Data Management & Analysis and Other Portals.
The LSI provides logos, poster templates, and PowerPoint slide templates to members. These resources facilitate listing the LSI as an affiliation on manuscript submissions and acknowledging the LSI in research posters, presentations, and other materials.
Have gently used lab equipment, office supplies, or other items you no longer need? The LSI Community Exchange is a space for sharing free items with the LSI community. Items must be offered free of charge and available for pickup within the LSI building.
