Bio

Dr. Rideout is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cellular and Physiological Sciences at The University of British Columbia. She held a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Sex and Gender Science Chair in Genetics (2020-2024), and was a Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Scholar (2018-2023). Dr. Rideout obtained her BSc at the University of Toronto at Mississauga, MRes/PhD at the University of Glasgow, and postdoctoral work at the University of Calgary.
