Drs. Eltis & Strynadka’s work on steroid catabolism by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis is Science in the City’s Publication of the Week (Apr 11, 2018)

The work of LSI’s Dr. Lindsay Eltis, Canada Research Chair in Microbial Catabolism and Biocatalysis, & Dr. Natalie Strynadka, has been featured by Science in the City (Vancouver), as Publication of the Week. The featured study provides insights into bacterial steroid catabolism and stands to facilitate the development of potential anti-tuberculosis therapeutics targeting IpdAB, a predicted CoA transferase (CoT) that has been implicated in the hydrolysis of a carbon-carbon bond.
