On September 19, 2014, the LSI hosted Dr. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan for a special seminar attended by nearly 300 people. Dr Ramakrishnan shared the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry “for studies of the structure and function of the ribosome”.
