Each year, UBC’s Faculty of Medicine recognizes faculty members who exemplify exceptional contributions in the areas of education, research and/or service, and who are dedicated to advancing both the Faculty’s values and vision of transforming health for everyone.
Congratulations to Dr. Jayachandran Kizhakkedathu (Pathology and Laboratory Medicine) was one of two researchers selected for their outstanding basic science research and scholarly contributions in the areas of health and life sciences. Dr. Zachary Laksman (Medicine and Biomedical Engineering) was also honoured in this category.
