Professor of Medicine and Medical Microbiology, University of Manitoba
Dr. Plummer is a Senior Advisor to the Public Health of Canada. He trained in infectious diseases, and spent 17 years in Nairobi heading the world-renowned Manitoba Nairobi collaboration. From 2000-2014 he was Scientific Director of the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg. Dr. Plummer is recognized internationally for his work in public health science, with >390 high impact articles.

Professor of Cancer Biology in Medicine, Weill Cornell Medicine, New York
Cancer researcher Lewis Cantley, Ph.D., is famed for his discovery of the signaling pathway phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) in 1984. The graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and Cornell University has been a professor at Tufts University and Harvard University, and is currently Meyer Director of the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine.
