LSI PMPM Facility

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Pre-clinical Models for Personalized Medicine Facility is to support the genetically engineered mouse model needs of Vancouver area life science researchers.

PMPM is always evolving, in order to meet the needs of our users. Our goal is to support your research projects and to provide you with the research tools that best suits your individual needs. The first step in providing you with research service excellence, is to meet with you to help design an effective plan for achieving your research goals. Your research is just as important to us as it is to you. Often times, the most difficult part of a research project is determining where to start, what options there are to you, and what is the best approach to suit your individual needs. That’s where we come in. A short meeting or telephone call with us will provide PMPM with a clear understanding of your specific research needs, so that we can recommend the best course of action that will result in the achievement of your research goals. Please fill out the web form and a PMPM associate will be in touch with you in a timely manner, to arrange further discussions about your projects.

The LSI PMPM facility is managed by a committee of LSI Researchers comprised of the following:

Dr. Marc Horwitz, Department of Microbiology & Immunogy

Dr. Jim Johnson, Department of Cellular & Physiological Sciences

Dr. Tim Kieffer, Department of Cellular & Physiological Sciences

Dr. Louis Lefebvre, Department of Medical Genetics
