The Personalized Medicine Initiative and partners are pleased to announce the 2nd Personalized Medicine Summit 2017, scheduled for June 11-13, 2017, at UBC.
This event follows the highly successful 1st Personalized Medicine Summit 2015, which resulted in a consensus advisory document, the “Roadmap for Bringing Personalized Medicine to British Columbians”. Summit 2017 will produce an updated Roadmap to assist government, the public and healthcare providers with the implementation of personalized, precision medicine, which will result in more efficient and effective healthcare.
Summit 2017 will attract an internationally renowned faculty and will be of interest to clinicians, patient advocates, healthcare providers, academics and representatives from government and industry who are interested in the revolution in healthcare that is being enabled by personalized, molecularly-based medicine.

Summary of Summit 2015
Over 300 people attended Personalized Medicine Summit 2015. It was held Sunday, June 7th – Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 at the Life Sciences Institute, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, organized by the Personalized Medicine Initiative (PMI) in partnership with Genome British Columbia, the Centre of Excellence for Prevention of Organ Failure (PROOF Centre), LifeSciences BC and the Centre for Drug Research and Development (CDRD), with PwC as the title sponsor.
The deliverable of Summit 2015 was a Green Paper: Roadmap for Bringing Personalized Medicine to British Columbians. “Preventing, Diagnosing and Treating Disease Are Soon to Change Forever”
